Council approves extensive newbuild schemes

Plans to construct hundreds of homes have now received a green light from East Yorkshire Council.

With planning approval granted, Beal Homes will now produce another 300 new properties in a selection of housing schemes worth around £70m, on top of its other developments based in East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Hull.

Businesses and homeowners can work alongside architects in Chester, Hull and other cities to streamline their plans ensuring a smooth passage through the council application process. Architects can use their knowledge of local areas to make sure designs are in keeping with the requirements of councils, increasing their chance of approval.

Beale stated that its new building projects reflect how successful its recent developments have been and its ongoing confidence in the market for newbuild housing. Chief executive, Richard Beale, added:

“There remains strong pent-up demand for new homes and we believe we have a major competitive advantage due to our unique business model, under which every buyer has the opportunity to work with our expert designers to make their new home fit their lifestyle and tastes perfectly.”

Like other firms such as Barratt Developments, Beale was required to pause operations towards the end of March in line with lockdown legislation to slow progress of the coronavirus pandemic. The award-winning homebuilders are now returning to provide properties for prospective homeowners with new measures in place on their project sites.

The updated safety steps will include site welfare compounds and facilities, changes to signage, walkways and site access, and an on-site marshal to ensure social distancing policies are complied with.
