Extensive Hampshire housing scheme planned

A proposal to construct 100 new residences in Hampshire’s Hedge End is now making its way through council planning channels.

If the plans meet with council approval, the development will begin on land located to the rear of Precosa Road and Sovereign Drive. The developer, Vivid Homes, hopes to raise 106 new residences within the 3.86-hectare area, commenting that the housing provided will work towards enhancing the character and look of the local area.

Developers across the country in Hedge End and Chester can use architects to act as agents in planning applications. Well-versed in local requirements, architects situated in an area can have useful insight and experience of the process, often facilitating a smooth and successful result.

The houses planned will be a varied assortment of different types and sizes, with the aim of attracting a diverse range of people to join the newly established community. As part of the project, drainage and landscape work will be conducted, while trees and hedgerows already in place within the locality will be incorporated into the upcoming neighbourhood and protected.

In order to enable a junction to be created, allowing access to the proposed building site, a property located at 47 Sovereign Drive would require demolition.

A spokesperson for Vivid Homes has stated that the new building project will create local employment opportunities while construction takes place, and that contributions will be made towards infrastructure in areas surrounding the site if the submitted plans are approved.
