Planning sought for hundreds of homes in West Bromwich

Hundreds of brand-new homes could potentially be built, if a new development designed to make use of derelict land in West Bromwich, West Midlands, is given the green light by council planners.

If awarded permission, the new scheme would involve disused land close to Hall Green Road in West Bromwich being transformed to hold 223 new homes. Architects in Chester, West Bromwich and other areas around the UK sometimes work closely with developers on schemes like this, assisting them in not only making plans, but in making official applications to local councils.

In 2016, a smaller scale project with 210 houses was also green lit, but again, the plans failed to materialise.

Now, members of the local borough council for Sandwell are expected to finally give the project the go ahead. If successful, the project will see a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes built on the site.
