Yapton residential scheme secures approval

A residential development that will see 145 new homes constructed in West Sussex’s Yapton has been given the go ahead.

The project is to be led by developer Redrow and encompasses two sites, spanning over 21 acres in total. With planning permission now granted, the development company will secure its first project within the village that lies close to Bognor Regis.

Named “Meadow Gardens”, the development is scheduled to begin in March next year. Once underway, construction will begin on a new community comprising a selection of one to two-bedroom flats and houses with between two and four bedrooms.

The Head of Planning for Redrow Southern Counties, Craige Burden, commented on the secured permission for planning:

“We’re grateful to Arun District Council and Yapton Parish Council for their help to shape the proposals and ensure we’re delivering homes to suit the area and a range of buyer demographics, while providing carefully planned green open spaces.”

Residential development companies can rely on assistance from professional architects in Nantwich, Sussex and other places when drawing up proposals for planning permission. Architects can use their technical expertise to help plans transition smoothly to approved status and conveniently act as agents, handling communications and answering council questions quickly to avoid project delays.

The scheme has been planned around the village’s central green in the north end of Yapton. As part of the new development, Redrow will also be making an investment in the community as a whole, contributing to local educational institutions, fire and rescue services and sports facilities.
